Fever?: Do you have a fever? You likely have a viral pharyngitis but mononucleosis is a real possibility too. Do you have a headache? Rash? Strep throat should also be ruled out and may be the most serious possibility. A simple throat swab can make this determination. I would urge you to see your doc tomorrow. Meanwhile, try some tylenol (acetaminophen) or advil and get some rest. Try to nurse some liquids if you can.
