Will the jack daniels sauce from tgi friday be bad for you if you are taking flagyl? might be a dumb question but not supposed to have alcohol at all.

Should be fine: I always tell med students I train, there is NO such thing as a dumb question! The reaction between the Flagyl and alcohol is nausea and vomiting when mixed. In fact, Flagyl type medications are used to treat alcoholism because of this reaction between the two. That being said, the JD Sauce is minimal in Alcohol from TGIF's and should be fine for you. Have a great meal at TGIF's!

Probably not.: The alcohol is the risk, and is largely "cooked off" in preparing the sauce. Note that I said "probably" -- the human body has no absolute rules....
