A member asked:

What are anesthesiology specialties?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Multiple: Anesthesiology is itself a specialty, though there are multiple sub-specialties. Pain management, critical care, cardiac, pediatrics are "official" fellowships. Other "unofficial" ones are neuro, ob, regional, perioperative, transplant, and many more. Most are 1 year long after completing residency.
