Physical exam and ongoing diagnosis of issues brought to the surgery by the patients existing medical issues or the manifestations of the surgery itself are what makes the job both challenging and rewarding.

Anesthesiology: Anesthesiology is the practice of medicine specializing in the use of pharmacologic agents to control and minimize the experience of painful stimuli during procedures and surgery. As such, it intimately utilizes knowledge and training encompassing both disciplines of biology and chemistry as well as many others.
