Road rash: Clean the wound with a cool water, soap and a freshly laundered wash cloth. Its going to sting. Get any grit in the wound out. Dry and cover with some triple antibiotic cream, use some telfa (stickless pads) and cover wound then wrap with gauze. Change daily. Watch for infection.
