Yes: A superior pubic ramus fracture will be very painful. You should be on crutches for a few weeks. You should also check your vitamin D level and probably need to take vitamin D and calcium to help the fracture heal. If the fall was not a very hard fall, you should also be tested for osteoporosis or wreak bones.
