Asked and Answered: No. Six to twelve weeks should be plenty of time for herpes testing.

Why?: What are you going to do if it is positive? Nearly everyone is positive for HSV1. In the not to distant future i suspect this will also be true for HSV2. Even so, few people have outbreaks and even fewer is it a recurring problem. When it is, a compromised immune system is the greater problem.
