Vagal response : When cramping occurs the Vagus nerve gets stimulated which lowers the heart rate and can lower the blood pressure. This in turn can cause a transient drop in blood flow to the limbs or anywhere really in the body. If it persists I suggest falling doctor, but this is the mechanism of why. May want to change the fiber products in u'r diet so u are not cramping so much
