A member asked:

Post pardum c-section, foot hurts on top, feels like a bruise when you touch it, should i be worried that it might be a blood clot?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Could be: It certainly could be. However usually it would be associated with swelling. Luckily too, its usually clots in the calf and up higher to the pelvis and lungs we worry more about. Try some heat or ice and see if it relieves your pain first and if not notify your OB to see if he/she recommends a doppler of the foot.
