SPF >25: Depending on your skin, intensity/extend of sun exposure, but in general an SPF over 25 is good for moderate exposure. No proofs that SPF over 50 are really better in preventing skin cancer

Sunscreen: The best sunscreen should have a molecule that protects against UVB & UVA (UVA-2 and UVA-1). Zinc Oxide is the molecule that has the ability to block UVA & UVB. So when considering using a sunscreen, look for Zinc Oxide.
