Different arms: There are multiple mechanisms for the body to defend against outside invaders. WBC is one arm to attack the invaders and immunoglobulins are another. Whereas WBC's action tends to be non-specific , immunoglobulin's action are specifically programmed against a particular organism. Their quantities are not linked to each other.
