Ribcage inflammation: A 23 year old with unhelpful MRI, echocardiogram and x-ray likely has nothing ominous going on. Is there chest wall tenderness when you push on the area? Is there any pattern as to when the chest pain occurs, what triggers or relieves it? Have you tried a course of anti-inflammatory medicine to see if it helps? Costochondritis is a possibility here.

Other causes: It would be wise to have other causes (reflux-"heart burn"/costochondritis/anxiety, etc,) evaluated for the chest pain, other than cardiac to find out why. Best wishes.
