Novorapid (insulin aspart): Novorapid also known as NovoLog (insulin aspart) is a rapid acting short duration synthetic Insulin usuall taken with meals to reduce blood sugars elevations from ingesting food. Other synthetic rapid acting insulins are Insulin lispro (humalog) and Insulin glulisine (apidria).
