Menstrual migraine: is triggered in susceptible women by fluctuating estrogen levels, usually a decrease in estrogen level just prior to menses. Managing menstrual migraine is difficult, most patients with menstrual migraine will not respond to traditional migraine therapy. This condition must be professionally managed.
