Asthma: Sounds an awful lot like asthma to me - often there is dust or bed mites, or other foreign proteins in bedroom air that triggers an attack. You should carefully wash all your bed linens, bed clothes, but also dust, remove old reading materials, wash your drapes, vacuum under the bed etc. Don't use scented cleaner. An inhaler medication may be indicated, best obtained from your family doc.
