Just got tested for c diff at the hospital due to clindamycin but the test ellll take two days what to look out for before the results come back ?

Diarrhea: C diff causes diarrhea and abdominal pain. Keep an eye out for that. While Clindamycin is related to C diff, C diff can be caused by any antibiotic. The fluoroquinolines probably cause more C diff now than clinda because they are prescibed more frequently. If you are not having diarrhea it does not make a lot of sense to test you for C diff. Maybe the hospital had an outbreak?
