So many options...: Your described stool frequency, at once a week, deserves evaluation. 1st, you are taking constipating medication--ask your prescribing doctor to re-visit iron pills. 2nd, if no tests have been yet accomplished, see a GI doctor to rule out metabolic disease (e.g. hypothyroidism), partial obstruction, inflammation, anatomic defects (check colon), functional problem (e.g. Hirschprung's, etc.), more.

Try,: some magnesium citrate for now. Get more fiber, plenty of fluid in your diet. If you need the iron, no choice, take it. You have hemorrhoids because you are constipated. Exercise regularly. Ultram can also constipate. You don't all that work up now. Try as above see what happens.
