Yes: Miralax (polyethylene glycol) is safe for constipation but instructions on the bottle advise only one dose daily--this is so you will talk to your doctor if you have severe constipation. Most people have constipation every so often, which is usually lack of fiber in their diet. Long term constipation can happen for different reasons so if this is a chronic problem, or if you can't poop pretty soon see your doctor
