Singular: There are many side effects including depression, suicidal trndencies, bleeding and other side effects. Watch your child closely for other side effects

Should be okay: Singulair (montelukast) should not hurt a toddler with the small doses. May be little drowsy. I suggest seeing pediatrician in a day or two for follow up.
