Fatty changes: Fatty changes in the liver, or fatty infiltration of the liver, is essentially what it sounds like....fat deposition in the liver. It is a common finding, sometimes there is no cause(idiopathic). Other times associated with obesity, steroids and other medications, and a variety of other things. It is a benign and often reversible condition. Talk to your doctor about potential causes.
