An aura: Yes, some type of seizures especialy, comlex partial seizures usually proceded by an aura which it can be a sensory symptom like facial numbness depends on the focus of the abnormal electrical discharge in the cerebral cortex, that usually will be in the parietal lobe, then it goes away when the seizure is over.
