Yes: It is possible to become or to be allergic to sunscreen. If you look at the active ingredients some of them differ in both amt of and type of sunblock. If the rash developed everywhere you putthesun screen consider changing to one with different active ingredients. Also it could be the non-active elements such as fragrance.

Could be allergy!: If the rash appears after applying sunscreen cream, it is likely due to allergy to the product. Though not common, you could develop a sensitivity to any cream.
