Tore a ligament in ankle 6 weeks ago, still very swollen but no improvement for past 2 weeks, but i can walk, could i need surgery or is this normal?

If its swollen : There are things to do to stabilize the foot and help reduce the swelling. Not properly tending to the ankle can cause permenant sequela. I suggest you see a foot/ankle specialist.
