Tried coffee w/50 mg of l-theanine per serving-for focus. after, i felt weird; not shaky-just odd/off. due 2 my rx's-or just the l-theanine? thx much!

Hard to say: What are your other medications? Interactions with theanine are generally from blood pressure medications as well as some psychiatric medications especially stimulant types of drugs. Side effects from theanine are generally not that significant but having said that I can tell you that scientific information on this alternative type of medication is very limited.
