Shoulder pain: Hi there! Chances are you had an MRI of the shoulder for pain. Edema is swelling or water seen on the images. This is typically from inflammation or arthritis in the AC joint or point of the shoulder. If you have pain or tenderness in the area of the bump on top of your shoulder this is likely the cause.
