Is it possible to get off of 30 mg of prozac (fluoxetine) when you don't feel depressed at all, or have no symptoms of suicide if you been taking it for 3 months?

Don't quit now : Do NOT discontinue Prozac (fluoxetine) abruptly without discussion with your prescribing doctor. Very risky to quit cold turkey... If your doctor agrees that you don't need Prozac (fluoxetine) any longer he will gradually taper you off it

Of course u : feel better. That's your Prozac (fluoxetine) working for you.I would strongly suggest that you talk this over with your perscribing physician Before you stop the medicine. Many people have come to the same conclusion only to find themselves back in depression after the drug wears off in 1-2 months. Why stop when it's working and you're doing well?
