Unlikely: To be clear, yes, nosebleeds are a potential sign of cancer, but rare in a child that age and with other more likely cause. Flonase can easily dry out the lining of the nasal passages - this is a common side effect. Allergies can also do this. It is important to keep the nasal passages moist. Many have swabbed Vaseline in the nasal passages with a Q-tip or used nasal saline with great results.

No: If allergies are bad, the nosebleeds are most likely a sign that the mucosa of the nose is dry and irritated. Nasal saline sprays should help. Talk to your doctor about treating your child's allergies further. Good luck!
