AML: Galloping leukemia is a lay term for rapidly progressive leukemia, usually Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Galloping leukemia: It's not a medical term for any means. Galloping means that it's rapidly progressing as it would be expected in a horse that is galloping, meaning running fast. So, to me this means a rapidly progressing leukemia.

AML: Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) usually affects adults, but can occur in children. AML occurs when abnormal cells develop in the bone marrow.
