Appendicitis?: If your husband has pain in the right lower side of his belly near and symptoms started within the last 24 hours, he may have appendicitis. If this is the case, he should seek medical attention today. It is often preceded by mild nausea, low-grade fever and mild stomach upset followed by migration of pain to the right lower part of the abdomen.

Abd pain: Sorry to hear about your husband's discomfort. Unfortunately, you didn't provide more information about his condition besides his chief complaint. Without further information, it's virtually impossible to suggest anything. If his pain is worsening and he is having other symptoms - nausea/vomiting, fever, he may need to be seen on a more urgent basis vs. a chronic condition.

Many possibilities: There are many possible causes for abdominal discomfort. To make an assessment , a doctor will want to know about associated symptoms, character and duration of the pain. Best to see your doctor, who will take complete history, perform a physical exam and order appropriate tests

Get CT : This could be acute appendicitis. Get a CT abdomen or at least a Xray. Nausea and vomiting are other clues. Fever or loss of appetite also signs of appendicitis. Other possibilities are kidney stones.
