May need med-checkup: Any severe pain in the abdomen raises a question about some infection of blockage. You did not tell us your age...that matters in terms of possible causes. You can take a paracetamol if you want to try treating it at home. But if the pain persists more than 2 hours from now, go to the Hospital emergency room for a medical check up and tests .
