It is important you get taken care of, and your parents or guardians should understand this if they find out. If you have a good relationship with them, though, maybe you should discuss your concerns.

Depends on the issue: Guardians/parents were once 17, so they've experienced the problems that teens may have. Teens may be afraid to talk with parents about some things, especially about things that teens are not supposed to be doing... but often life gets better, and the parent-child relationship improves, with talking. In CA, teens can get confidential care for sex issues, drug/alcohol use, and psychological issues.
