Might it be possible that a minor go to the doctor without a parent?

Depends on variables: There are some health clinics set up for std's and pregnancy that allow kids access to care by state law. I would check for the rules in your state and thier limitations. Some doctors will permit minors (usually older teens) to come alone for visits if parental concent is recorded in the patient record.
