Depends: The decision to have percutaneous coronary intervention for single vessel dz depends on the presence of heart failure symptoms, predictable chest pain uncontrolled by medication, or symptoms suggesting decreased flow to your heart (shortness of breath, arrhythmia, fainting, history of heart attack). If mild or without symptoms, PCI is not indicated unless a stress test demonstrates high risk.
