Vegetable-based: Juicing has been a weight loss and health benefits fad for a number of years. The mechanism of weight loss is due to the marked reduction in calories, assuming you will be juicing for all meals. I wouldn't recommend this in spite of the hype. It is neither sustainable nor nourishing. You would be better to use juicing as a supplement to a calorie restricted diet and 3-5 times a week exercise.
