Breastfeeding: Generally, it is not recommended to take narcotics and drink alcohol at the same time. Narcotics can be excreted in breast milk, causing infant drowsiness, central nervous system depression, and possible even worse. Once breastfeeding starts, narcotics are usually not recommended. Switching to NSAIDs is usually considered preferable.
