Lexapro (escitalopram): Yes given no other medical problems and on no other meds. But before stopping you should contact your doctor to discuss the problems you are having. Remember you and your doctor are a team. And both of you need to be on the same page to get the best treatment outcome.

Stop lexapro (escitalopram): Its as important to consult with your doc before you stop a med, as b4 you start a new one (which is to say, it's important). If you do t like the effects of the Lexapro (escitalopram) or are having side effects, let your doc know, so he can document these effects & instruct you on stopping safely & discuss other options for stress management/ anxiety (exercise, meditation, talk tx, or other med). Ring ur doc :)
