Glasses not helpful: Optic neuritis is an inflammation of the nerve conducting information from the eye to the brain - like the cable from a computer to a video screen. The best of optics (eyeglasses) will not give you a clear image until the neuritis ends. Best to be followed if possible, by a neuro-ophthalmologist (not an optometrist) for a condition this serious.
