Call 911: Take him to the emergency room. The risk for hip fracture is very high and he needs to be evaluated.

PossiblyHipFracture: Please take him to Emergency room , May want to call Paramedics as he cannot move. He may have broken Femur bone (the Thigh bone) most commonly broken in elderly after a fall because of Osteoporosis-Bone become brittle- Some time Pelvic Fracture or the Vertebral body Fracture cause pain and inability to walk/ move . These are less serious and may not need surgery. All pf them are diagnosed by Xray
