I can't tell if im just having menstral related symptoms or if its kidney stones im extreme pain in my lower back that is a sharp stabbing pain.. help!?

Ultrasound can tell: If the severe menstrual pains are not a longstanding problem, then it is possibly related to something else. At any rate, ultrasounds of the kidneys or even plain x rays can tell if there are stones. Contact your primary care doctor.
