Potentially: If the inflammation of your skin if due to superficial fungal infection, you should see response with anti fungal treatments you are on. No response indicates either the fungus is resistant or the inflammation is due to other condition like eczema etc., for which some non steroid topical treatment may be considered, if applicable.
