GI Procedure: What procedure are you having.The two commonest procedures are endoscocy and colonoscopy.Both procedures are done under sedation by an anesthetist being present and are completely safe and there is no bleeding or clots.If biopsy is taken and polyp is removed then there can be insignificant bleedind and no abdominal pain related to the procedure.
