My husband just had a cbc. his white count is 3.6 plt cnt was 134 & neut is 47.3. can this mean cancer?

Take a good breath .: What this means depends on a lot of factors. Are his blood counts like this repeatedly. As if this is his first abnormal blood count then it will be important to repeat this to make sure he has consistently low white blood cell and platelet counts. Your are right. It could mean that something is suppressing his bone marrow and a malignancy is possible but so are many things like infections too.

CBC results: wbc 3.6 is within the lower normal range, platelet count is a little low, neut 47% is within the normal range. These numbers alone would not imply cancer.

31 yo male, started zocor in Jan, and on eliquis. WBC 3.9, RBC 3.94, HGB 11.5, HCT 34, PLT 110, MPV 10.9, AST 50. No symptoms, found on yearly labs. All other labs from CBC w diff and comp normal. CEA 0.6, AFP 2.7, CA 19-9 4. Could this be cancer?
My CBC is WBC 9.2, RBC 5.5, hgb 16.1, hct 46.4, MCV 84.4, MCH 29.3, mchc 34.7, %rdw-cv 12.4, PLT 254, mpv 12.2, % neut 46.8, % lymp 40.5, % mono 9.4 .. Is it good or bad. Plz comment on high mpv value?
