Angiomyolipoma: The CT scan can confirm the diagnosis of angiomyolipoma(AML) due to specific CT features. The ultrasound appearance is suggestive, but not definitive. AML is a benign lesion with no malignant potential. Small AMLs require no treatment. Larger AMLs(> 4cm) have an incidence of spontaneous hemorrhage, proportional to increasing size, and may require treatment.
