Different doctor: You seek out a doctor that you feel very comfortable with. You may be discussing very private, personal matters with him or her and you need to feel open and free to do so. Your health may depend on it.

Your choice: Many people straight, gay, or bi get crushes on their doctors. Physicians are used to this and after a visit or two the patient learns how good the doctor is about boundaries and the visits get on to the medical issues at hand. But, of course, this is your choice. You want a physician you trust. One who you know has your best interests at heart.
