C/w Radicular pain: Body sensations (exception: some via cranial nerves) are transmitted to brain/mind via spinal cord. The pattern you describe is highly c/w radicular pain originating from cervical spinal cord. Rec: study cervical anatomy, exercises for cervical spondylosis, e.g. Robin A. Referred Pain : The sensation of "sharp/stabbing " pain may be a PARASTHESIA symptom often associated with nerve irritation/ inflammation/compression. However, I noticed you had chest symptoms also. Abnormal conditions in the heart or lung can result in referred nerve pain patterns. You didn't say which arm (heart issues can cause left arm symptoms). The persistence of pain for months = PLEASE see your MD!!!
