Awaiting approval of thoracic mri for dull pain. when upright is it usual for t3/4 area (site of pain) to protrude as small bump? rest of spine smooth

Maybe: If you are talking about a disc bulge/protrusion, it is possible that it may increase in the upright position,due to the increased axial load on the spinal column due to gravity. Whether this is related to symptoms or not is a different question.
