Pott's Disease : Mri with gadolinium enhancement is one of the best imaging modalities available for portraying pott's disease (tb of the spine), especially assessing its risk to the spinal cord. X-ray, ct, & bone scan can also be used but MRI is the best modality. A needle biopsy can be used to look for the AFB and other potential organisms & causes.

Pott's disease: Yes, MRI of the spine would reveal this. Do you have a reason to suspect that you may have tb? In that case, discuss it with your pcp as it is very treatable these days and should be dealt with without any dely.

MRI is an excellent: Way to evaluate for pott's disease (tuberculosis of the spine), assuming the MRI includes contrast administration.
