Need evaluation : Incidence of symptomatic IVC filter penetration of the IVC wall is actually really low, but it happens. The current recommendation regarding retrievable IVC filters - consideration for removal of the filter should be given as soon as protection from PE is no longer needed. However, first ur imaging (CT) should be correlated with you symptoms in order to determine if that's what causing ur symptoms
