Only: around the periphery of intact skin and only if excessively moist. Use as a moisture barrier, but optimal treatment is to remove the pressure until healed and again, a wound care center would be your best choice.

You need to make sure to weight shift very frequently, make sure no infection, discharge from the wound, also need to make sure to cover the wound to prevent further damage.
