It may: Difficult to answer without actually seeing the back of your throat. I suggest seeing a Primary Care doc or a Ear Nose Throat Doc. There may be other aspects to consider causing the tongue tension that you may not be able to see or identify by just looking in the mirror.

Yes: Yes, the muscles that anchor your tongue to your mouth are very close to if not some of them the same that also control your throat/swallowing, so it would make sense that any tension felt in your tongue could also be felt as a tight throat.

Possibly ...: Anatomically, the muscle of the tongue due reach to the "back of the throat", so it is possible that tension(or increased tone) in the tongue or tongue spasms could cause some sense of throat tightness. But I would be careful about attributing throat tightness just to "tongue tension", as this could make you miss a more concerning problem responsible for your throat sensation. Best of luck.
